I wanted a place that could hold more than my resume: my thoughts

This is where I will write about work that is still in motion: a tool I am building, a decision that took longer than it should have, a film that stayed with me after the credits, or a small idea that refuses to leave me alone. Some posts will be technical. Others will be personal. The common thread is that I will only put them here if I have something specific to say.

The work behind the work

I spend a lot of time around software, data, and systems that are meant to make a decision easier. The finished version is rarely the whole story. There are false starts, odd constraints, and the occasional simple fix that changes the direction of a project.

I want to write about those parts too.

Films, books, and the rest

The things I watch and read keep showing up in my work, even when they have nothing to do with code. A film can change the way I notice a room. A book can make a familiar problem feel less settled. I will make space for that here.

There will be opinions. There will be unfinished thoughts. I would rather leave a useful question open than force a neat conclusion onto it.

If you are here for the projects, they are still the centre of the portfolio. These posts are a collection of my thoughts.

I want this space to hold the things that do not fit neatly inside a project card or a résumé. The ideas that come from building something, watching a film twice, getting a detail wrong.

Some of these posts will arrive before I have a conclusion. That is part of the point.
